Michaeliskirche Hildesheim
St. Michael's Church is a masterpiece of Ottonian architecture and is known for its clear geometric design. The painted wooden ceiling with depictions of Christ's family tree is particularly impressive. Visitors will discover one of the most important church buildings of the early Middle Ages. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, as it is an outstanding example of Ottonian architecture and had a lasting influence on the development of church architecture.
