Cranach-Höfe

The Cranach Courtyards commemorate the life and work of the painter Lucas Cranach the Elder, who lived and worked in Wittenberg. The historic courtyards combine art, history and craftsmanship and provide an insight into the workshop and living environment of the Renaissance period. Today, the buildings house exhibitions, studios and cultural events and are among the most important sights in Lutherstadt.
