Johanniskirche

St. John's Church is one of the oldest buildings in Magdeburg and was once an important council church. It was badly damaged during the Second World War and later rebuilt as a venue for events. Today it serves as a cultural and concert venue with impressive acoustics. Particularly worth seeing are the baroque high altar, the historic epitaphs and the accessible church tower with a panoramic view over the city.
