DenkStätte Weiße Rose
The White Rose Memorial is located at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) and commemorates the siblings Hans and Sophie Scholl and the "White Rose" resistance group. These courageous students campaigned against the Nazi regime during the Nazi era and distributed leaflets calling for opposition. The exhibition shows original documents, photos and information about their actions, arrest and execution. The memorial is a quiet place of reflection and remembrance.
