Cuvilliés-Theater
The Cuvilliés Theater in the Munich Residence is a rococo masterpiece and is considered one of the most beautiful theaters in Europe. It was opened in 1753 and impresses with its rich decor of gilded stucco and red velvet curtains. Mozart's opera "Idomeneo" was premiered here. Today, concerts and performances are held regularly, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the unique acoustics and atmosphere.
