Synagoge Worms

The synagogue in Worms is one of the oldest synagogues in Europe and is closely linked to the history of Ashkenazi Judaism. Despite being destroyed several times, it was rebuilt true to the original. Visitors can experience a central place of religious and cultural life here. The synagogue has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021 (SchUM sites), as Worms was one of the most important centers of Jewish scholarship in the Middle Ages.
