Felsenmeer in Lautertal

A spectacular natural monument consisting of huge, stacked boulders - formed by geological processes during the Ice Age. The Felsenmeer is a popular destination for hikers, families and climbing enthusiasts. Information boards along the paths explain how it was formed and how it was used as a Roman quarry.
